After the Tsunami election,this is my first post in this blog!!

And here i want to discuss about HINDRAF!!

Where it is heading??

None of us would forget the earthquake that HINDRAF brought into Malaysian politic scenario by the November 25 rally!!

The racist UMNO leaders,tried very hard to manipulate our Malay brothers and sisters against Indians in this country!!Yet they failed in their attempt,cause Malay leaders such as Anwar and royal blogger Raja Petra knows what the rally is about and they pledges their full support to HINDRAF's fight!!

Failed in their first attempt to crush HINDRAF's fight against social injustice,Malaysian Govt launched their second wave of the crushing effort by arresting HINDRAF leaders under ISA in look a like "Operasi Lalang".They describe HINDRAF as threat to national security.This led to nationwide prayer-meetings in Temples!!The long-standing BN loyalist Indians got their political awareness which led to Political Tsunami on March 8.BN lost it's 2/3 majority in Parliament,and lost 5 states+ FT-KL to Pakatan Rakyat(4 of the states are where most Indians are living,Perak,Penang,Selangor,and Kedah).One of HINDRAF leaders,who've been detained under draconian ISA has won Kota Alam Shah state seat in Selangor!!This shows that,people rejected "HINDRAF IS NATIONAL THREAT" idea!!

But,still Abdulah is crying that HINDRAF is national threat,and his longstanding loyalist Syed Hamid Albar,heading tough task in his reign as Minister of Home Internal Affairs!!

They are not ready to accept the people's decision!!

Always claiming to have "Big Ears" to listen people grouses,which is deaf,Abdullah failed as a national leader.

And current uproar in Malaysian Indian community is about health condition of Uthayakumar, de-facto leader of HINDRAF!!Reported that Uthaya is denied proper meditation!!And his health condition is getting worse while,the camp official claims,"Uthaya is alright".But,inside of every indian,we know that our hero is not fine!!And recently there were protest rally all around the nation to show our dissatisfaction against this human crime committed by Malaysian Goverment.

He fought for our rights,and the price that he paid for that is too much!!

On the other side,Waythamoorthy the Chairperson of HINDRAF who is living in self-exile in London was shocked with the revoke of his passport.This will force Waytha to back to Malaysia,where he'll be arrested under ISA,and put together with other HINDRAF leaders!!

This is the clear picture that is on going that everyone of us are aware of,there are some other issues about HINDRAF that we are unaware of.

How come no one was aware of the plight of the Indians for the last 50 years? Was the BN leadership deaf or the MIC dumb? Syabas to Hindraf. 100 percent of the credit goes to them.

On Seven issues affecting the Indians
Inthian: After months of trying to tell the Indian Malaysians that the government and MIC cares, now he comes up with seven issues affecting the Indians. After leading the MIC for 30 years only now he seems to have diognosed the problem.

The mainstream media reported that the government would channel RM3.8million to Chinese schools in Penang and another RM3.5million to Chinese schools in Johor. The same paper reported that eight Indian-based NGO's received a mere RM10,000 each in Butterworth. What kind of government allocation is this?What is the MIC, which claims to be the sole representative for the Indians, doing about his?

Are the Tamil schools so well-maintained that they dont deserve this kind of aid? Samy is the sole representative for the Indians ... does he need another 30 years to get it for us?

7 Issues that affecting Indians....Samyvellu lists down

There are seven critical issues that have caused uneasiness among the indian community and the goverment must immediately take steps to address them.The seven are :

• an equitable participation in share market;
• Indian intake in public universities;
• better employment oppurtinities,especially in the public sector;
• increase the number of goverment scholarships;
• greater access to entrepreneurship training and micro credit loans;
• an effective urban poverty eradication programme;and
• the establishment of a dedicated mechanism to monitor and evaluate the delievery of of public sector services in a just and fair manner

MIC President S.Samyvellu,in listing out these seven grouses,urged the govermnet to resolve these issues immediately as they have hindered the party's efforts to ensure the upward mobility of the Indians,Bernama reported.

"The Indians have very high expectations and are demandingfrom MIC greater inclusion,access and their rights in the socio-economic development on par with the other communities."he said at the MIC special convention for branch chairmen at the Putra World Trade Centre today.

The work minister,who has come under increasing criticism for the failures of the community,said that Indians wanted just and fair treatment from goverment.Elobrating on the seven grouses,Samyvellu said the MIC wanted the goverment to ensure equitable participation in the share market through the establishment of a special mechanism such as the Permodalan Nasional Berhad(PNB) in order to attain the three per cent equity target by 2020.

He also added that the MIC could only complement the programmes provided by the govermnet for Indians but these initiative were not sufficent to re-alter the the socio-economic disadvantages of the community.

He expressed his confidence that the goverment would take speedy action on the seven issues which have been forwarded to the goverment several months ago."We have been continuosly discussing with the goverment to resolve these issues and I am confident of speedy solution,"he was added.

He said the present unhappiness among the indian community would not dampen the party's resolve to retain all the seats."With the peoples loyalty and support to the Barisan Nasional,the MIC scored 100 per cent success in 2004 general election.The Indians realise the Barisan goverment had always served the people's interest and had brought socio-economic progress to all races,"he said.

Finally,the sole Minister of Indians has admitted that Malaysian Indians are unhappy over the current govt's policies.And he urged govt to take imeediate actions to resolve Indians problems.And he also declared that Malaysian Indians still trust UMNO led Barisan Nasional Goverment.By saying 'MIC only can complement the programmes provided by goverment' Samyvellu reinstated his loyalty to his UMNO bosses.What has goverment done for Indians??Can MIC or any of its leaders can list down??

We dont say Goverment did nothing for us;but they had done very little!!We ask for 100,they give us only 4 or 5,and MIC or Samyvellu himself will state their thankful to their bosses over this 4 or 5 things.At the first place this so called community leaders should question goverment why the rest 95 or 96 is declined at the first place,that is the criteria that people wish to see in their leaders.But they wont do that,they will say(on behalf of their UMNO bosses) that other 95 or 96 requests are still under consideration,and people should be patient.Until when we have to be patient??!!

We're tired of being patience for past 50 years.That is the main reason why we came to street on November 25th last year.In past 30 years the losses that our community came through was lot.Especially a Minister post.After Samyvellu took reign as a MIC chief,there's no more 2 Indians in Cabinet.The sole Indian Power in Malaysian Cabinet is Mr.Samyvellu himself.By his agrressive style of administration he controlled each and everyone of his party member and became the sole power in party.

And Samyvellu since then holding his Party President post,and with his aggressive leadership,controlling his party well.But,Indians don't need a aggressive party leader but an aggressive Indian Minister,or an aggressive community leader.The way Samyvellu work as community leader is not sufficent.

Every decision regarding Indians by the goverment is taken by Cabinet is in consent of Samyvellu himself,then how can all the injustice had happenend to us???

Samyvellu might argue that Indians are fine in this country,but Indian community not in line of context with him.We feel that we had been marginalised.And the current leadership of the community is unable to lead us correct path.

All this long Samyvellu has been talking and telling the world that Indians are fine in this country(even in his current India trip),and why suddenly he admitted that there is some issues that make Indians unhappy??

Is that becauese of nearing General Election??

Samy thinks that people will champion him because he has voiced out for us,but he forgot that peoples are not that stupid to believe his stunts due to election fever.He may think that he still rule the Indians in Malaysia.But he should know that after the born of HINDRAF people are free to think and will against anyone who is against Peoples Power.Samyvellu is against HINDRAF and Peoples Power,so he should know that he's going to lose this battle for the rights,coz always,only.....

Malaysian Indians in London Rallied to 10,Downing Street(Official Residence on British PM Gordon Brown)

Yesterday(1st February of 2008),as planned earlier,Malaysian Indians who resides in London gathered in front 10,Downing Street,Prime Minister Official Residence to stage a peaceful demonstration and submit a memorandum to British Prime Minster Mr.Gordon Brown.

Led by HINDRAF's founder&leader Mr.Waythamoorthy,about 300 Malaysian Indians(largely Tamils) gathered there.According to the news that earlier today we recieve from London,most of the demonstrators seen holding life size pictures of HINDRAF5 that detained under Malaysian Govt's draconian law ISA.And they were also holding banner which demand Britain PM's immediate intervence to settle the problem of Malaysian Indians.

Earlier,we had recieved some unconfirmed news that Mr.Brown himself will attend and accept the memorandum.But,during the demo,Mr.Gordon Brown has sent one of his personal assistant to accept the memorandum.Britain Police had permitted this demonstration and gave full co-operation to run this demonstration without any unwanted incident.(Malaysian Police have to learn so many things from them)

After the submission of memo to British PM officials,around 3pm local time,Malaysian Indians led by Mr.Waytha,gathered in front of High Commision of India in London.

There,they were warmly welcomed by the Indian High Commisioner for UK.4 of the represantives had met Indian High Commioner personally and we understand that Indian High Commisioner was happy to accept the memo,and stated his concern about Malaysian Indians.

The memorandum which submitted to Mr.Brown and Indian High Commisioner for UK containing detailed information about UMNO led Malaysian Govts atrocities against ethnic Indians in the country.The memo also containing detailed information of indirect ethnic cleansing that Malaysian govt is practising against ethnic Indians.The memo also pledged both Britain and Indian govt to pressure Malaysian Govt to release 5 HINDRAF leaders who were detained illegaly under draconian ISA law.

After the massive rally held on 25th November 2007,seems like world countries start to understand the rationale behind our struggles,and our fights.If international community didn't take immidiate actions,Malaysia can become another Sri Lanka,where Eelam Tamils stood up and fighting to seperate their nation.Continous marginalisation and supression had led Sri Lanka to long-time civil war which claimed about 80,000 lives.Sri Lanka which snubbed all the peaceful efforts by Eelam Tamils,is paying their price now.We hope Malaysian Govt(leadership) will be smart enough to settle our problem in peaceful ways,rather then any harsh ways.

The fight has begun,

We have thousands of rights to claim back,

We have just one life to sacrisfie!!

BN acts to retain Indian votes.- The Straits Times of Singapore.

Retired teacher R Surendran, 58, is the sort of Malaysian Indian voter the ruling Barisan National (BN) coalition hopes to win over ahead of the next general election.He describes himself as someone who has long been grateful for the 29 years he spent in the civil service and the monthly pension he draws.

But his outlook changed on Nov 25 last year, when the government cracked down on the organisers of a demonstration protesting against alleged discrimination against Malaysia's Indian community.

"Now, I am not sure whether I will vote for the government any more," he said.

During the demonstration, protesters were dispersed by police using water cannon and tear-gas, and five of the organisers were detained under the Internal Security Act.
The situation has calmed, but the BN now has to deal with a possible fallout at the ballot box, with a general election expected by the end of March.

Aside from making Thaipusam a holiday - a move seen as an attempt to pacify the Hindu community - the government has also set up a high-powered committee to examine ways to end hardcore poverty among all races by 2010.

The opposition is ready to make the most of any discontent among Indian voters.

"Making Thaipusam a holiday doesn't solve things," said Democratic Action Party MP M Kulasegaran.
"What about the lack of education and economic opportunities for Indians? The government should do more."

Although there are no Indian-majority constituencies, 28 of Malaysia's 219 Parliamentary seats have more than 15 per cent Indian voters and almost all currently have BN representatives.

Political analyst Wong Chin Huat said that even though Indians make up a minority of voters, they could make a difference in deciding the winner in several constituencies.
"There are at least four Parliamentary seats that the ruling coalition is in danger of losing because there is a substantial number of Indian voters,"

Wong, a researcher with the National University of Malaysia, told The Straits Times.
They are Puchong in Selangor, Batu Kawan in Penang, Rasah in Negri Sembilan and Teluk Intan in Perak.

The Indians have traditionally been supportive of the government, whereas Malay and Chinese support for the BN has tended to swing.

The Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC), the only Indian party in the ruling coalition, is maintaining a brave front, saying it intends to turn the tide of discontent in the community before polling day.

"All MIC elected representatives have been told to intensify efforts to reach out to the people. It's time we pay even closer attention to the people's problems and explain government policies to them," party vice-president S Sothinathan told The Straits Times.

Political analyst Mr Wong said: "It will be an uphill battle for BN to win back the Indian support."

I wish to touch few points of the news,
First point is about the change of mind of long-time BN supporters.Indians were always loyal to BN since independence.But,now they're ready to change.Most of the Indians aware that HINDRAF's struggle is to win back all the rights that we lost in 50 years.And now Indians are united and ready to snub UMNO led BN goverment.Of course it does mean MIC is well.MIC is not stnding for Indians well-being,but always loyal to her UMNO boss.The blind support for BN is doesn't exist anymore,thanks to HINDRAF.Finally Malaysian Indians are awareful in politics.
The conclusion is,
MIC = Make Indians Cry.

Second point is about attempt to pacify Indians,with Public Holiday for Thaipusam,in FT.Even,a foreign press is aware of this cheap tactic,don't Malaysian Indians?
Does UMNO and gang believe that,Malaysian Indians are that fools to be fooled like this.Kula got it right,did FT Public Holiday will solve all our problems??
And formation of high-powered committee to eradicte povetry among all races.Seems like BN goverment wont admit that Indians were the worsen hit by hardcore-povetry.This shows that BN is not sincere to Indians.
So,cheap political stunts wont affect us anymore!!

Third point is about minority of Indians vote.Though we're minority voters,but we hold the trump that decide victory.Short saying,we were deciding factor for BN's win all these years.28 Parliament seats is decided by minority Indians.And strong 4 seats that require 100% Indians votes to win are Puchong,Rasah,Teluk Intan and Batu Kawan(my consituency).And we hold minimum 4 parliamentry seats in our hand,and the rest 24 seats need Indian voters to decide victories.
Time to prove our existence!!

And finally about Sothinathan's statement that,all MIC elected represantives had been told to reach the people.Where were MIC and this tight lip-locked elected represantives all this long??
Why want to reach out now??oh...Becuase election is too close......
But MIC leadership should understand that,after 25th November 2007,Indians are aware of everything and especially about MIC which make them cry.
MIC=Make Indian Cry for 50 years,after 50 years Indian will make MIC cry!!

So,coming election,Peoples Power will speak,
We can count the seats that BN will lose,
Cause Makkal Sakthi is not sell-out crowd!!

RE: HINDRAF URGES SUPPORTERS NOT TO BE BLINDED WITH POLITICAL OPINIONS /OPPOSITION

HINDRAF CALLS FOR TALKS ON MALAYSIAN INDIANS’ FUTURE WITH POLITICAL PARTIES.

HINDRAF has always maintained it’s non-partisan stand and has always steered clear of party politics or align itself with any political party including the opposition

However HINDRAF cannot deny it has “Political Friends” both from within the ruling as well as opposition parties who have supported us in our cause for the protection of the ethnic minority Indian rights in Malaysia.

Hence taking into consideration of the upcoming general election, HINDRAF is now forced to advice the Malaysian Indians on “Whom to Vote”.

HINDRAF calls upon the Indian community not to blindly assume that by voting for the opposition political party in the next upcoming General Elections would solve the problems of oppression, suppression, marginalization and permanent colonization of the ethnic Indian community.

HINDRAF urges the political parties to:
a) Be transparent, fair and equitable in the distribution of seats to the Indian candidates both Parliamentary as well as State seats.
b) Make their manifesto extremely clear as to their commitment for advocating and implementing Indian rights should they be elected to lead the next Government.

The 18 Point Demands made and submitted by HINDRAF to the Prime Minister are crystal clear on the needs and thirst of the Indian community to undo 50 years of Political and Socio Economic violations of the UMNO led Malaysian Government. These points should be the paramount consideration in respect to the Indian needs.

I call upon the interested political parties to immediately engage in talks on the above two crucial aspects as soon as possible so that we can advice the Malaysian Indian community “ Whom to Vote”.

Malaysian Indians have been cheated in the political arena for 50 years by the UMNO led BARISAN Government. HINDRAF’s leaders have made great sacrifices to relate this message to the Malaysian Indian community.

We will not betray the trust of Malaysian Indian community on HINDRAF’S leadership and will not advice the Malaysian Indians to place “a blind hope” on either BARISAN or the Opposition party unless we are satisfied the above two issues are adequately addressed.

HINDRAF is also happy to engage in dialogue with BARISAN subject to releasing the 5 HINDRAF leaders and accepting HINDRAF as a pressure group.

An Olive Branch to BN............
The Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) is seeking to engage Barisan Nasional in a dialogue, subject to releasing its five leaders presently detained under the Internal Security Act.

The five - P Uthayakumar, M Manoharan, V Ganabatirau, R Kengadharan and K Vasantha Kumar - were arrested on Dec 13 for their alleged involvement in organising illegal gatherings on Nov 25 and making seditious statements against the government.

They are now serving a two-year detention without trial following.
Hindraf’s exiled leader P Waythamoorthy said in a statement today that Hindraf was keen to initiate immediate discussions with political parties on both divides regarding the future of Indian Malaysians.

While maintaining its non-partisan stand, Hindraf warned that “it is now forced to advice Indian Malaysians on whom to vote in the upcoming general elections.”

The reform movement is calling on opposition parties to explicitly state their commitment to advocate and implement steps to enhance Indian rights should they be elected to lead the next government.

However, Waythamoorthy urged the Indian commmunity.
“not to blindly assume that voting for the opposition will solve the problems of oppression, suppression, marginalisation and permanent colonisation of the ethnic Indian community.”

Review our 18 demands
Hindraf reiterated the need to study their 18-point resolution submitted to the prime minister on the needs and demands of the Indian community.
Several of the key demands relate to:
• The maintenance of Malaysia’s status as a secular state

• Full revamp of National Integration Policy

• Reinstatement of Pupil’s Own Language classes in national schools.

• Preserving places of worship

• Affirmative-action plans for the Indian community

“These points should be the paramount consideration in respect to the Indian needs,” it said.
With the elections impending, Hindraf urged political parties on both sides to be transparent and fair to Indian candidates in terms of parliamentary and state seat distribution.

Leading Hindraf from London, Waythamoorthy also called on the ruling coalition to accept the movement as a legitimate pressure group.

Latest Update:Gordon Brown to meet HINDRAF leader Mr.Waythamoorthi.

1st Feb 2008,Mr.Murugesh an HINDRAF supporter with 4 others will stage hunger strike in Trafalgar Square in London.And we are also understand that about 1000 people will gather at Downing Street(where Mr.Brown's office is located).

And some sources saying that British PM official had been approached by HINDRAF,and the officials gave positive reply where 6 of the represantives(Including Mr.Waythamoorthy,HINDRAF chief) were invited to closed-door meeting.Some unconfirmed news are saying that Mr.Gordon Brown himself will meet the 6 represantives.

As we all known,about 150 years before,British had brought Indians to then Malaya as labourers for their rubber estates.Most of the Indians came to Malaya stayed,and became part of uniqe nation.And even after 50 years the colonialize powers left the country,but indians situation in the country is still same as 50 years ago.Further more,Indians were marginalised in past 50 years.

Aware or not,British goverment should take responsiblity for our situation.And they're(British Govt) ready to talk with us.

But the great Malaysian BN Govt(led by UMNO) is not ready even to discuss about our plight.What they did was,snubbed HINDRAF for once and all.Even after Indians showed their dissatisfaction during Nov 25th Eye Opener Rally,Malaysian govt still argues that it's not true!!

வெற்றியை நோக்கி நம் பயணம்.......

ஆகக் கடைசியாக எனக்கு கிடைத்த தகவல்.....

நாளை,பிப்ரவரி 1ஆம் தேதி,பிரிட்டனின் டால்ஃபாகர் ஸ்குவேர் எனுமிடத்தில்,முருகேஷ்(ஹிண்ட்ராஃப் ஆதரவாளர்) என்பவரும் மேலும் 4 பேரும் இணைந்து உண்ணாநிலை போராட்டம் மேற்கொள்ளவிருக்கின்றனர்.அன்றைய தினம்,டவ்னிங் ஸ்ட்ரீட்டில் அமைந்திருக்கும் பிரிட்டன் பிரதமரின் அலுவலகத்திற்கு முன்பு ஏறக்குறைய 1000 பேர் கூடுவார்கள் என்றும் எதிர்ப்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.

அன்றைய தினம் பிரிட்டன் பிரதமர் துறை அதிகாரிகள் ஹிண்ட்ராஃபின் பிரதிநிதிகளை(வேதமூர்த்தி அவர்கள்) சந்திக்க நேரம் ஒதுக்கியுள்ளனர்.பிரதமர் கோர்டன் பிரவுன் அவர்களும் இச்சந்திப்பில் கலந்து கொள்வார் என்றும் எதிர்ப்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.

On Marginalised Indians......Dr.M says,
I wont agree that Indians are marginalized in this country.But I will say MIC doesn’t represent Indians in proper way.MIC’s argument that it is a sole represent of Indians is not true.They’re not allowin other Indian parties or NGOs to represent Indiabs.They want to be conquerors of Indians in Malaysia.This led to Indians dissatisfaction.

On HINDRAF........Dr.M says,
Use of ISA against HINDRAF leaders is not appropriate.Goverment should talked with them at the first place.Goverment should discussed with them,debated with them.at the first place.Without listen to their plight and arguments,we can’t judge them.The sudden invoke of ISA against the HINDRAF leaders is not appropriate.

On Nov 25th Rally........Dr.M says,
Indians are minority in Malaysia,and I Think,they’re desperate.They chosen street demonstration,cause I think there is no proper channel for them to voice out their frustration.

I've been waiting for Dr.M's comment on HINDRAF for all these while.Finally.

On Marginalised Indians........I says,

I dont agree,if Dr.M says no indians are marginalised.We can prove that we've been marginalised for a very long period.And during his(Dr.M)though indians achieved lot but also we were in slight discrimination and marginalisation.

And during Dr.M's reign the mini genocide did happened in Taman Medan.

And i don't understand how come an inteligent like Dr.M can deny this truths!!!

On HINDRAF.........I says,

100% correct.That is what we're demanding from the first place.We hope PM will listen to our plights.At first,they charged our youngsters under Attempted Murder charge,then put bail amount for our leaders at tens of thousands,and finally invoked draconian ISA against our leaders.

I still remember,during Dr.M's time as a premier,a chinese group in this country questioned special status of Malays as Bumiputera.Dr.M never threaten them with ISA,never called them THUGS,never ever use abusive words against them.But he held forums with the group.And the problem settled in easy way.Thats the differences between good leader and sleeping leader.

On Nov 25th Rally........I says,

Yes,we're minority,that is the reason for our struggles!!We've been marginalised cause we're minority,We,ve been permenatly colonialised cause we're minority,And we're desperate too.Desperate for equal rights,Basic Human Rights.

மலேசிய அரசாங்கம் தலிபான்களுக்கு சமமானவர்கள் - HCUK

தலிபான்களை போல் நடந்து கொள்கிறது மலேசிய அரசாங்கம்.பாமியன் புத்தர் சிலையை தலிபான்கள் தகர்த்தது போல்தான் மலேசிய அரசாங்கத்தின் நடவடிக்கையும் இருக்கிறது.இந்த நடவடிக்கையை மென்-தலிபானிஸம் என்றும் வகைப்படுத்தலாம்.
பல நூறு வருடங்களுக்கு முன்பு அமைக்கப்பட்ட கோவில்களின் வரலாற்று பின்னணியைக் கூட கருத்தில் கொள்ளாது இடித்துத் தள்ளும் மலேசிய அரசாங்கத்தின் நடவடிக்கையானது அடைப்படை மனித உரிமை மீறலாகும்.
இந்துக்கள் மட்டுமல்லாமல் மற்ற சிறுபான்மை மதத்தினரையும் அடிப்படை மனித உரிமைகளுக்கு உட்படுத்துகிறது மலேசிய அரசாங்கம்.
கடந்த நவம்பர் மாதம் கோலாலம்பூரின் வீதீகளில் தங்களின் உரிமைகளைக் கேட்டு போரடிய ஆயிரக்கணக்கான தமிழர்களை காட்டுத்தனமாக தாக்கியது மலேசிய போலிஸ்.
ஏறக்குறைய இரண்டு மில்லியன் தமிழர்கள் இனவாத மலேசிய அரசாங்கத்தால் பெரிதும் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.இந்த பிரச்சனைக்கு தீர்வு காண்பதற்கு பிரிட்டன் பிரதமர் கோர்டன் பிரவுன் அவர்களின் உடனடி தலையீடு அவசியமாகும்.
அனைத்துலக சமூகமும் இந்த விவகாரத்தில் தலையிட்டு,சுமுக தீர்வு காணவேண்டும்.

மேல் காணப்படும் செய்தியானது எனது தனிப்பட்ட கருத்து இல்லை.இந்த புகாரை கூறியிருப்பது ஐக்கிய ராச்சிய இந்து பேரவை(The Hindu Council of United Kingdom).கடந்த வெள்ளிக்கிழமை பத்திரைகளுக்கு வெளியிட்ட ஓர் அறிக்கையில் அப்பேரவையின் செயலாளர் திரு.அனில் பானோட் அவர்கள் இவ்வாறு குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.

பாமியான் புத்தர் சிலையை வரலாற்று சின்னம் என்று கூட பாராமல் வெடி வைத்து தகர்த்த தலிபான்களுக்கும்,பல நூறு கோவில்களையும்,அதற்குள் குடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் ஆயிரமாயிரம் சிலைகளையும் உடைத்து தள்ளிய மலேசிய அரசாங்கத்திற்கும் எந்த ஒரு வித்தியாசமும் இல்லை.

தலிபான்களின் அட்டகாசம் அடங்கி விட்டது,

ஹிண்ட்ராஃப் முடிந்து விட்டதா??

ஹிண்ட்ராஃப் எப்போதோ ஆரம்பித்து,எப்போதோ முடிந்து விட்டது;ஹிண்ட்ராஃப் என்ற போர்வையில் மெழுகு வர்த்தியை ஏந்திகிட்டு போறாங்க,இது நமது கலாச்சாரம் அல்ல!!இதெல்லாம் அரசியல் கபட நாடகம்!!கோவில்களில் பிரார்த்தனைக் கூட்டம் என்ற போர்வையில் பிரச்சாரம் பண்றாங்க,இதெல்லாம் முறையில்லை!!

ஏற்க்குறைய 5 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு,மூர்த்தி என்ற ராணுவ வீரர் ஒருவர்(1998 எவரெஸ்ட் மலையேறும் திட்டத்திலும் இவர் கலந்து கொண்டவர் ஆவார்) மரணமடைந்த பின் ஒரு பரபரப்பான சூழல் ஏற்பட்டது.மூர்த்தி என்பவர் சில வருடங்களுக்கு முன்பு இஸ்லாத்தை தழுவி விட்டதாகவும்,ஆகவே மூர்த்தியின் சடலம் இஸ்லாத் முறைப்படித்தான் அடக்கம் செய்யப்பட வேண்டும் என,திடிரென்று அறிவிப்பு வந்தது மூர்த்தியின் ம்னைவிக்கு.அவர் அந்த நொடியில் எப்படி உடைந்து போயிருப்பார்??!

அப்பொழுது வழக்கறிஞர் சிவநேசன் அவர்கள் மூர்த்தியின் மனைவிக்கு உதவிக்கரம் நீட்டினார்.இந்த விஷயத்தை சட்டப்படி கையாள முடிவு செய்து கோலாலம்பூரில் உள்ள உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தை நாடினார்கள்.ஆனால்,உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தில் வழக்கு பதிவு செய்த அன்றைய தினமே,சிலாங்கூர் மாநில இஸ்லாமிய இலாகா மூர்த்தியின் சடலத்தை கோரி மருத்துவமனையில் மனுக்களை தாக்கல் செய்தது.அதற்கு மூர்த்தியின் குடும்பத்தாரும்,வழக்கறிஞர் சிவநேசனும் கடும் எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவித்த பொழுதிலும்,மருத்துவமனை அதிகாரிகள் சடலத்தை இஸ்லாமிய இலாகாவிடம் ஒப்படைக்க தயாரானர்கள்.அங்கு ஏற்பட்ட கடும் வாக்குவாதத்தை அடுத்து ஏற்க்குறைய 2000(குல்லா அணிந்த) இஸ்லாமியர்களை மருத்துவமனைக்கு வெளியில் குவித்தது சிலாங்கூர் இஸ்லாமிய இலாகா!!!

அப்போது இந்த செய்தியை அறிந்து நம்மவர்கள் ஏற்க்குறைய 400 பேர் வழக்கறிஞர் வேதமூர்த்தி அவர்களின் தலைமையில் ஒன்று கூடினர்.அதுதான் ஹிண்ட்ராஃப்-இன் பிற்ப்பு.அவர்கள் 2000 பேர்,நம்மவர்களோ வெறும் 400 பேர்.அப்படி இருந்தும் அன்று அந்த சடலத்தை அவர்கள் கைப்பற்றி விடாமல் காத்தனர்.(அதன் பிறகு நீதிமன்றத்தின் உத்தரவின் பேரில்தான் மூர்த்தியின் சடலம் இஸ்லாமிய இலாகாவிடம் ஒப்படைக்க பட்டது என்பது குறிப்பிட தக்கது.)

இது மாண்புமிகு அமைச்சர் அவர்களுக்கு தெரியுமா என்று தெரியவில்லை!!

நம்மை தீவிரவாதிகள் என்றும்,தேசத்துரோகிகள் என்றும் பழிப்பேசிய மூடர்களுக்கு நமது தேசப்பற்றை உணர்த்துவோம்.

மறந்தா விட்டோம்???

நடந்து முடிந்த தைப்பூசத் திருநாளை பெரும்பாலான தமிழர்கள் பத்துமலையில் கொண்டாடமல்,வேறு முருகன் ஆலயங்களிலும் கொண்டாடி மகிழ்ந்தனர்.எந்த வருடமும் இல்லாமல்,இந்த வருடம்,பத்துமலையில் மக்கள் கூட்டம் பேரளவில் குறைந்தது என்பதுதான் உண்மை!!!

ஆனால்,இந்த சமுதாயத்தின் சாதனைத் தலைவர் என்ற பட்டப் பெயரை,தனக்குத் தானே வழங்கிக் கொண்டு திரிந்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் ஒருவர்,கூறியிருக்கிறார்,பத்துமலையில் இந்த வருடம் 9,50,000 பேர் வந்தார்களாம்!!!

என்னுடைய ஆங்கில மக்கள் சக்தி பிரிவில் இதை நான் ஏற்கெனவே கூறியிருந்தேன்.

இதை விட மிக நகைச்சுவையான விடயம் என்னவென்றால்,அவர் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்,மலேசியத் தமிழர்கள் இன்னும் (மஇகா) இவர்களைத்தான் நம்புகின்றார்களாம்,இவர்கள் சொல்வதைத்தான் கேட்கிறார்களாம்.(காமெடியா இருக்கப்பா!!)

யாருடைய குறுஞ்செய்திகளும்,போராட்டங்களும் இவர்களையும்,இவர்களின் அடிவருடிகளின்(தேவஸ்தான) நிர்வாகத்தையும் ஒன்றும் செய்து விட முடியாதாம்!!

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - Ten of thousands of pilgrims, some with skewered cheeks, gathered Wednesday for a Hindu festival dampened this year by a boycott among ethnic Indian activists discontent over the government's treatment of minorities.

After overnight prayers and preparations, pilgrims carrying kavadis _heavy frames decorated with beads and peacock feathers _ and brass pots with offerings of milk marched in processions to Hindu temples across the country to celebrate the Thaipusam festival.

But the main procession and prayers, which normally see nearly 1 million people gather at Sri Subamaniar Swamy Temple inside the limestone Batu Caves near Malaysia's biggest city, Kuala Lumpur, were this year the target of a boycott by ethnic Indian activists, who urged pilgrims to go to other temples in order to express their anger at the government.

Many ethnic Indians, who make up 8 percent of Malaysia's 27 million people, feel they face discrimination in jobs, education and business, and say they do not have full religious freedom in this Muslim-majority country.

About 60 percent of Malaysia's population is ethnic Malay Muslims. There is also a large ethnic Chinese minority that is mainly Buddhist and Christian.

"Rumors of riots and political problems kept people away. It's very dull ... usually you cannot walk around here," S.M. Mahndran, 50, said, pointing at empty spaces in the Sri Subamaniar Swamy Temple foreground.

Pilgrims were urged to gather at other temples instead of the Batu Caves, which are controlled by the Malaysian Indian Congress, a political party in the ruling National Front coalition. Indian activists accuse the MIC of not doing enough for the ethnic Indian community.

Shopkeepers around the Batu Caves, pilgrims and journalists said only about 30,000 to 50,000 people turned up this year.

There were no official estimates of the crowds, but MIC president Samy Vellu claimed a crowd of more than 1.1 million.

"The crowd is the usual crowd. I have come to Thaipusam for 60 years ... I am very, very happy," he said.

The simmering Indian discontent became evident on Nov. 25 when about 20,000 people held an unprecedented anti-government rally in Kuala Lumpur. Five leaders of the Hindu Rights Action Force, which organized the protest, were jailed under a law that allows indefinite detention.

அமைதி முறையில் மகாத்மா காந்தியின் படங்களை கையில் ஏந்திக் கொண்டு தமிழர்கள் போராட்டம் நடத்தியுள்ளனர்.அவர்களது நியாயமான கோரிக்கைகளை ஏற்க மலேசிய அரசு மறுத்தால், தமிழர்களின் கோரிக்கைகளை புறக்கணித்தால், காந்திப் படங்களுக்குப் பதில் பிரபாகரன் படத்தை ஏந்தத் தமிழர்கள் தயங்க மாட்டார்கள்.

மலேசியத் தமிழர்கள் சந்தித்து வரும் பிரச்சினைகளுக்கும், இலங்கைத் தமிழர்களின் பிரச்சினைகளுக்கும் நிறைய ஒற்றுமைகள் உள்ளன. இரு நாட்டுத் தமிழர்களுமே தங்களது உரிமைகளுக்காகவே போராடி வருகின்றனர்.

என்னைக் கேட்டால் பேராசிரியர் பி.ராமசாமி அவர்கள் கூறியிருக்கும் கருத்து 100% சரி என்று கூறுவேன்.

கடந்த ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 25ம் தேதி கோலாலம்பூரில் போராட்டத்தின் போது,நான் சந்தித்த நண்பர் ஒருவர் கூறுகையில்,"அமைதி முறையில் மகாத்மா காந்தியின் படங்களை கையில் ஏந்திக் கொண்டு போராட்டம் நடத்தினால் கூட தடியடி நடத்தியும், கண்ணீர்ப் புகை குண்டுகளை வீசியும் அநியாயம் புரிகின்றார்கள்!!" என்று வெதும்பிய போது, நான் கூறினேன், "மகாத்மா காந்தி போதித்த அன்பு வழி இவர்களுக்கு புரியாது,இவர்களுக்கு பிரபாகரன் வழியில்தான் பதிலடி கொடுக்க வேண்டும்,நாம் மகாத்மா காந்தியின் படங்களை கையில் ஏந்தியிருக்கக் கூடாது,பிரபாகரன் படத்தை ஏந்தியிருக்க வேண்டும்!!" அப்போது அங்கிருந்த பலர்,கைத்தட்டி தங்களின் ஆதரவை தெரிவித்தனர்.

ஆனாலும் மிகுந்த துணிச்சலுடைய தலைவரான அண்ணன் உதயக்குமாரின் தலைமையிலான நமது போராட்டம் அன்பு,அமைதி வழி போராட்டம் என்பதால் அமைதியாக இருக்கிறோம்,எங்கள் அமைதியை பயம் என நினைக்கவேண்டாம்.எங்களின் போராட்டம்,வெற்றி கனிகளை ஈட்டாமல் ஓயாது!!!

ஆளும் தேசிய முன்னனி அரசாங்கமே,தேசிய முன்னனி அரசாங்கத்தில் அடிமையாக அங்கம் வகிக்கும் மஇகாவே,மஇகாவின் (தரு)தலைவனான சாமிவேலுவே,உங்களின் பொய்களை நம்பி நாங்கள் ஏமாந்த காலம் மலை ஏறிவிட்டது!!!

எங்கள் விரக்தியின் உச்சத்தை நாங்கள் அடைந்த பொழுது எங்கள் தமிழ் கடவுள் முருகனே பார்த்து அனுப்பிவைத்தான் எங்கள் உரிமை சிங்கங்களை!!

போராட்டம் என்று வந்து விட்ட பிறகு,பிரிவுகளும்,சிறை வாசங்களும்,தூற்றல்களும்,கீழறுப்புகளும் இல்லமலா??

ஆனால்,எந்த போராட்டத்திலும் பிரிவுகளும்,சிறை வாசங்களும்,துற்றல்களும் நிரந்தரமல்ல,இவையெல்லாம் வெற்றி வாசலின் முதல் படிகள் என்பதை வரலாறு நமக்கு உணர்த்துகிறது!!

தீயோர்களின் கீழறுப்புகள் உன்னதமான போராட்டத்தை ஒன்றும் செய்து விடாது!!

ஆகவே,எமது போராட்டத்தை ஒடுக்கி விடலாம்,அழித்து விடலாம் என்ற பகற்கனவு பழிக்காது!!
